317008: Route deleted
Cisco ASA is a security device that provides the combined capabilities of a firewall, an antivirus, and an intrusion prevention system. It also facilitates virtual private network (VPN) connections. It helps to detect threats and stop attacks before they spread through the network.
Message: %ASA-6-317007: Deleted route_type route dest_address netmask via gateway_address [distance /metric ] on interface_name route_type.
Event 317008 is generated when a route is deleted from the routing table. The message contains information on the:
- Routing protocol type.
- Destination IP address.
- Netmask for the destination network.
- Gateway address by which destination network is reached.
- Distance of the route.
- Metric for the route.
- Name of the interface through which the traffic is routed.
How could you resolve this situation?
This event does not require any action.
