201009: TCP connection limit exceeded

Message: %ASA-3-201009: TCP connection limit ofnumber for host IP_address on interface_name exceeded.

Event 201009 is generated when the maximum number of connections to a specific static address is exceeded. The maximum number of connections permitted for the host, the IP address of the host, and the name of the interface are specified in the message.

How could you resolve this situation?

Use the'show static' and 'show nat' commands to check the limit imposed on connections to an address.The limit is configurable.
