2298: W3 event no global module
The IIS web sites that use HTTP rely on several IIS components for their availability. The IIS World Wide Web Publishing Service (W3SVC) is one among them. The W3SVC is responsible for managing the HTTP protocol and HTTP performance counters.
Event 2298 is generated when the global modules list is empty. This makes it impossible to serve requests successfully.
How could you resolve this situation?
Add a global module definition to application host.config.
