1016: W3SVC event logging failure
The IIS World Wide Web Publishing Service is responsible for managing the HTTP protocol and HTTP performance counters. An IIS web site is a unique collection of web pages and web applications that is hosted on an IIS web server.
Event 1016 is generated when the W3SVC did not configure logging for a particular site. The site is specified in the event log message.
How could you resolve this situation?
Stop the HTTP service and restart it. Stopping the HTTP service will shut down the World Wide Web Publishing Service.
