1003: IIS WMSvc startup unable to ACL path

The IIS Web Management Service (WMSvc) facilitates remote and delegated management of web servers and the web sites and applications in it.

Event 1003 is generated when an attempt to set the appropriate access control lists (ACL's) to the corresponding path failed. This would have caused the Web Management Service startup to fail.

How could you resolve this situation?

Ensure that the directory path existing in the event log message description exists. If there's no such path, we recommend you to create the directory path and restart the WMSvc.

We can help you simplify log management and improve your organization's security with EventLog Analyzer.
