1001: IIS WMSvc startup unable to create directory
The IIS Web Management Service (WMSvc) facilitates remote and delegated management of web servers and the web sites and applications in it.
Event 1001 is generated when an attempt to create a directory failed. This would have caused the Web Management Service startup to fail.
How could you resolve this situation?
Ensure that the WMSvc has read/write permissions on the temporary directory and then restart the Web Management Service.
