NIS2 is a European Union (EU) directive aimed at improving
cybersecurity across the EU. It is a revision of the original NIS directive, which was
introduced in 2016. NIS2 is a legal requirement for EU Member States. They have until 18 October
2024 to comply. For those outside, it demands your attention if you intend to do business with
EU organizations.

The new Cyber Essentials v3.3 "Danzell" question set applies to all
assessments created after 27 April 2026. Accounts created before this date have a 6-month grace
period to certify under the previous standard but that window won't last. The sooner you act,
