Passwords of remote systems, applications and websites are stored in PMP. Normally, to login to the systems and applications, you need to copy the password from PMP and paste it in the target system. PMP provides an option for automatically logging in to the target systems and applications directly from the PMP web interface eliminating the need for copying and pasting of passwords.
PMP provides four kinds of Auto Logon Mechanisms:
Browser Extensions: To make password management and auto logon activities seamless, PMP provides the option to securely synchronize passwords across browsers through native browser extensions. The extension helps you auto-fill passwords to websites and web applications. In addition, the extension allows you to view all passwords, resource groups, favorites, recently used and a search option.
Once you deploy the extension, you will be able to perform most frequently used password management operations directly from the browser, while PMP will be running in the background. At present, extensions are available for Chrome and Firefox. You can find more information on what all you can do using browser extensions in the help document.
