Troubleshooting steps for GPO management issues

The most common issues with Group Policies include,

• Failure in application of Group Policies
• Group policies not being applied as expected

Troubleshooting solution 1:

Troubleshooting solution 2 :

The Group Policy Result Wizard can be used to diagnose the issues with computers or servers. Follow these steps to run the tool.

• Login to the DC as the administrator.
• Navigate to Windows Server > Tools > Group Policy Management.
• Once the Group Policy Management console (GPMC) opens, expand the domain tree and right click Group Policy results.
• The Group Policy Wizard opens, click Next.
• Select the computer for which you wish to view the policy settings for. Click Next
• Similarly select the user for whom you wish to view the settings for and click Next.
• Check the summary and click Next, then click Finish.
• In the GPMC, you can now view the Policy settings report.

Troubleshooting solution 3 :
