  • The helpdesk technicians can be restricted to perform management actions and reports which are only within their expertise level. Restrictions on actions, reports, domains or to the level of Organizational Units can be facilitated.
Report Generation and Management capabilities Reporting in ManageEngine ADManager Plus is comprehensive with facilities to export them to different formats, printing of reports. Reports can also be scheduled. Management actions can be performed from the reports. From these reports he can enable, disable, delete move or perform other management actions on the object. Though reports can be scheduled with Quest ActiveRoles Server it does not cover all Active Directory attributes as done by ADManager Plus.
Scheduling and Emailing of Reports(Information) Information on Active Directory Infrastructure can be scheduled. This information can be emailed to selected list of users every day every month or at specified periods of time. The reports can be emailed to administrators, helpdesks, auditors or any user the administrator chooses. Both ADManager Plus and Quest ActiveRoles Server provide this functionality.
Scalability ADManager Plus and Quest ActiveRoles Server are both scalable to suit any enterprise, and reports on AD objects are generated at ease and at least times.
Installations ManageEngine ADManager Plus being web based requires only a single installation, helpdesks access the software from anywhere on the web and extract and view desired reports.
Licensing ADManager Plus is licensed based on the Number of Domains and Helpdesk technicians deployed. Quest ActiveRoles Server is licensed based on the number of objects managed using the software.
