24025: Issued transaction log backup command
The transaction log in a SQL server is a chronological record of all transactions and the database modification performed in each transaction. In case of a database failure, a backup of the data file and the transaction log is necessary to restore the database. Event 24025 occurs when a command to back up transaction log of a database in an SQL server has been issued. It is generated by the BACKUP_RESTORE_GROUP action group. Important information can be derived from this event including the:
- Date and time at which the event occurred.
- Session identifier of the event.
- Privileged user who performed the action.
- Database associated with the event.
