Changing Microsoft account user password

To ensure security, Microsoft provides options to change users' account passwords.. This article discusses the steps to change a Microsoft account password:

  1. Open account.microsoft.com and login with Microsoft account's username and current password.
  2. Once logged into the account, select Security from the navigation bar at the top of the page. Enter the account password again.
  3. Under Password security, click Change my password.
  4. In the Change your password page, enter the current password and the new password.
  5. Click Save.

The Microsoft account password has now been changed.
