Use Domain Logon Name and Password to Login to Endpoint Central

Endpoint Central web client is the management interface for various systems management activities like deploying patches, installing/ uninstalling software applications, granting/revoking security restrictions, blocking/unblocking USB device usage, taking control of remote computers, and so on. If a disloyal person gets access to this interface, he/she can perform any undesirable activities using Endpoint Central. Moreover, with the increase in software applications, each with their own authentication and password complexity levels, it becomes very difficult to remember all the passwords.

Endpoint Central addresses this problem with Active Directory Authentication. If you have a Windows domain setup, you can make the Active Directory's password policy work for you. You can make the users login to Endpoint Central using their domain logon name and password. This will greatly minimize the risk of making others using your password to access Endpoint Central Web interface.
