Software Deployment failure - Storage Control Block Address is invalid

Problem

You are unable to deploy software and get an error - The storage control block address is invalid, during the process

Cause

You will encounter this error if the network path specified is invalid.

Resolution

Check if the network path specified while adding a package is correct. Else mention a valid network path. Try accessing the same path from the client machine by,

Start --> Run --> (type the path here) and check if it is correct or not.
