Software Deployment failure - Network path not found

Problem

You trying to perform Software Deployment but you get the error message - Network path not found.

Cause

The network path specified while creating the package is not accessible/ is incorrect/ lacks privileges.

Resolution

Ensure the following:

  1. The path specified is correct.
  2. The path is accessible from the client computer where the software is being installed.
  3. The path and the file are shared with necessary privileges.
