Steps to Manually Migrate Tasks Deployments

1. Custom Group-Based Deployments - Computer

For tasks deployed with Custom Group as the primary target, use a Dynamic Custom Group based on Domain as the criteria, which includes Entra ID-joined computers previously managed as Workgroup type. Update the group criteria to include the Entra ID domain now.

2. Custom Group-Based Deployments - User

For tasks deployed with a Custom Group as the primary target using a User Custom Group, update the groups to include Entra ID users.

3. Define Target-Based Deployments - Computer

For tasks deployed using Define Target with Remote Office/Domain/Custom Group as the primary filter and sub-filters that include or exclude a Dynamic Custom Group based on Domain as criteria, which previously managed Entra ID-joined computers as Workgroup type, update the group criteria to now include the Entra ID domain.

4. Define Target-Based Deployments - User

For tasks deployed using Define Target with Remote Office/Domain/Custom Group as the primary filter for Entra ID users, update the Define target to include the Entra ID users refere above images.
