Unable to replicate image due to SSL certificate error - 12175


You can see the error message "Unable to replicate image due to SSL certificate error - 12175" on the screen during image replication.


This error will be shown,

  1. If the certificate file available in Desktop Central server is invalid or corrupt. 


You can resolve this issue by following the steps given below,

If you are using a self signed certificate,

Delete the following files from the location where Desktop Central server is installed. Before deleting ensure that you take a backup of the files. 

  • ManageEngine\DesktopCentral_Server\apache\conf\ server.crt
  • ManageEngine\DesktopCentral_Server\apache\conf\ server.key
  • ManageEngine\DesktopCentral_Server\nginx\conf\ server.crt
  • ManageEngine\DesktopCentral_Server\nginx\conf\ server.key

After deleting, restart Desktop Central server.

If you are using a third party certificate,

Re-import the original certificate files into Desktop Central server. Refer this document for steps to reimport.


If the orginal certificate is not available, contact Desktop Central support with the following files,

  • ManageEngine\DesktopCentral_Server\apache\conf\ server.crt
  • ManageEngine\DesktopCentral_Server\nginx\conf\ server.crt

Support team will modify the data and will share the original files .
