Firewall Analyzer - Compliance - Rule Management - How to
1. How to view inactive rules in Policy Overview report?
Go to Compliance > Rule Management > Policy Overview tab.
Expand Statistics drop down list.
Choose Inactive Rules in the list.
Click on the PDF export icon to export Inactive Rules report in PDF format.
You can also view other options listed such as Total Rules, Allowed Rule, Denied Rules, Firewall Inbound Rule, Firewall Outbound Rules, Logging Disabled Rules, Allowed ANY to ANY Rules, and Allowed Rules with ANY Services.
2. How to view the rules of specific policies in Policy Overview report?
Go to Compliance > Rule Management > Policy Overview tab.
Expand Select Policy drop down list.
In the Select Policy pop-up, click on the policies to choose them and click OK to get the selected policies to be displayed.
3. How to export the Policy Overview report in CSV format?
Go to Compliance > Rule Management > Policy Overview tab.
Go to end of the report.
You will see 4 icons in bottom left side of the report.
Click on second icon to export CSV report.
4. How to export the Policy Overview report in XLS format?
Go to Compliance > Rule Management > Policy Overview tab.
Go to end of the report.
You will see 4 icons in bottom left side of the report.
Click on third icon to export Excel report.
5. How to choose specific details of rules in Policy Overview report?
Go to Compliance > Rule Management > Policy Overview tab.
Click on Choose columns shown in top right corner of the report.
Select required columns and click Ok.
Chosen columns will be display in the table and taken when the report is exported.
6. How to get periodic report for 'Denied Rules'?
Go to Compliance > Rule Management > Policy Overview widget.
Expand Statistics drop down list and choose Denied Rules in the list.
Expand Select Policy drop down list. In the Select Policy pop-up, click on the policies to choose them and click OK.
Click on the Schedule icon which is available besides the firewall drop down list.
Click on Add in the Schedule popup window.
Enter the report name in the Report Name field, email IDs in Mail To: field and select the scheduled time in the Schedule Time field.
Click Save.
