Patch Installation Failure-Installation Service UnavailableProblemYou cannot install patches. You see the following error on the screen, 'Fails with an unknown error code 1073741502'. CauseYou get this error because the service required to install the patches is not available. For example, during patch installation if the user reboots the machine, the service used to install the required patches will be stopped to shutdown the computer. ResolutionYou must try deploying the patches again. This can be done automatically or manually. To re-deploy patches, follow the steps given below:
