Recoverymanager Plus Backup Exchange Attributes

By default, RecoveryManager Plus backs up the following Exchange attributes.

• User object Exchange attribute list
• Computer object Exchange attribute list
• Contact object Exchange attribute list
• Contact object Exchange attribute list
• Dynamic Distribution List (DDL) attribute list

In addition to all these, you can manually add other Exchange attributes not in this list to RecoveryManager Plus and back them up. To learn how you can do that, click here.

Manually adding Exchange attributes to RecoveryManager Plus for backup.

• Log in to RecoveryManager Plus as an administrator.
• Navigate to Active Directory tab >Settings>Backup Settings.
• Click the icon against the domain in which you would like to add the Exchange attribute to be backed up.



• In the Select Object types to backup field, click the icon.



• In the pop-up that appears, select object type whose Exchange attribute you want to backup.
• Click the Add Attributes link,provide the LDAP attribute of the Exchange attribute, and click Save.
Note: The attribute to be added has to have values in any of the following data types: Boolean, integer, long, unicode string, print case string (printable string), case-insensitive string, and case-sensitive string.



• Click Save to complete adding the Exchange attribute to the backup schedule.
