Problem

You are trying to publish the patches of Java for Business 7 Updates and you get the error : "Patch Download Failure".

Cause

Java for Business 7 Updates patches will fail when published from Patch Connect Plus to WSUS since the download links for these updates are available only for oracle customers.

Resolution

Follow the steps given below to publish Java for Business 7 updates 251 to SCCM via Patch Connect Plus,

Download the updates manually using the Oracle account
Navigate to the <PatchConnectPlus Installed Directory>\webapps\ROOT\store
- For patch "jre-7u271-windows-i586.msi ", Create a new folder "b7c00516-1328-4d2c-9bbb-5abccbb082a6" and paste the downloaded Java update
- For patch "jre-7u271-windows-x64.msi ", Create a new folder "41dbb85d-09bb-4876-a2d7-e6f4cbda162e" and paste the downloaded Java updates
In the Download failed Patches view in the Home page, select the updates, click Download and Publish Now.
