How do I deploy a custom wallpaper to all the client computers in my network and prevent users from changing it?

This document provides you with steps required to deploy a custom wall paper to all client computers and prevent clients from changing it.

Steps

To deploy a custom wall paper to all client computers and prevent users from changing the wall papers, follow the steps given below:

1. In the Configurations dropdown menu, click More>>
2. In the Add Configurations section, click Collections
3. Select User Collection
4. Enter a name and description for the collection
5. Check the following checkboxes:
   • Display
   • Security Policies
6. Select the required wallpaper file

   Note: If you are using Microsoft Windows XP as your operating system, the wallpaper file should be a bitmap (.bmp) file. If you are using Windows Vista as your operating system, you can use a JPEG (.jpeg) file or a bitmap (.bmp) file.

7. Click Next>>
8. Under Active Desktop, enable Restrict changing wallpaper
9. Click Next>>
10. Choose a target
11. Click Finish
12. Click Deploy

The settings will reflect in the client computers during the agent's 90-minute refresh cycle, during startup or during logon-whichever takes place earlier.
