Microsoft DHCP server scan completed but not showing Scope, Leased IP details. Why?

Cause:

OpUtils manages Microsoft DHCP servers using Active Directory(AD) credentials and scans your DHCP servers using Microsoft's native API. This requires administrator credentials, so that it can fetch and display details such as DHCP scope and leased IPs. You might be facing the stated issue in case of insufficient privileges/credentials for DHCP server queries.

Resolution:

To resolve this issue, please follow the steps mentioned below,

  • Click on Settings and go to OpUtils.
  • Under OpUtils click on Active Directory.
  • Select the appropriate AD associated with your DHCP server.
  • Click on Edit and provide the appropriate super admin credentials.
  • Save the changes you have made.
  • Now click on IP Address Manager tab and scan the Microsoft DHCP server again.

Check to see if the issue had been resolved.
