Integrating Desktop Central With Help Desk and OS Deployer
Desktop Central can be integrated with the following applications:
Desktop Central can be integrated with Help Desk products like ManageEngine Service Desk Plus to enable you to log user requests, integrate asset data and deploy software applications. For more information, see Integrating Desktop Central with ServiceDesk Plus.
When you integrate Desktop Central with Help Desk, you can make help-desk requests by clicking on the Desktop Central icon in the system tray from any of the computers that are managed by Desktop Central. The requests are automatically logged into the Help Desk application as incidents. These requests will be assigned by the ServiceDesk personnel to the respective IT personnel. ManageEngine OS Deployer helps you to manage all newly provisioned desktops and servers automatically using Desktop Central.
OS Deployer, with its post-deployment customization option, provides the ability to install the Desktop Central agents automatically in specific computers. The new computers will automatically become the part of the list of managed computers without requiring any additional configurations in Desktop Central.
