1. Why do you need firewall rule impact analysis feature?

Firewall Rule Impact Analysis functionality of Firewall Analyzer helps you to analyze the impact of a new rule over the existing ones in the firewall device. Before pushing the new firewall rule in to the firewall device, it is analyzed for security threats, risky ports, blocked IP addresses, complexity and anomalies with the existing rules.

2. How do I add my blacklisted IP addresses as a file in rule impact feature?

  • While generating rule impact analysis report, select the Consider my blacklisted IP file checkbox and upload the blacklisted IP addresses file in .txt or .csv format.

Note:IP addresses should be entered in the file as line by line.

Example: blacklistip.txt

176.115.86.110
176.115.96.204
176.115.139.141
