Other repositories

This section will explain how you can add and delete local and shared repositories to store RecoveryManager Plus’s database backups.

If you don’t have a repository configured, you’ll be presented with a screen to do that.

Enter a name in the Repository Name field.
If you want to add a local repository, enter the local path where you wish to save the backups In the Repository Path field. If required, you can select Add Credentials and provide the credentials of a user who can read/write in the specified local path.
If you want to add a shared repository, enter the shared path where you wish to save the backups In the Repository Path field. When you enter a shared path, the product automatically asks for the credentials of a user that can read/write the content in the specified storage location.
Click Add.

Once you have added a repository, you can view the following details.

You can also perform the following operations:

Click Add Repository button in the top right corner.
Select if the repository is a local or shared repository.
Enter a name in the Repository Name field.
If you selected a local repository, enter the local path where you wish to save the backups In the Repository Path field.
If you selected a shared repository, enter the shared path where you wish to save the backups In the Repository Path field. Enter the credentials of a user that can read/write the content in the specified storage location.
Click Add.

Click the icon under the actions column of the repository to change the name of the repository.
Modify the name of the repository and click Save.

Click the / icon under the action column of the repository that you wish to enable/ disable.

Click the icon under the action column of the repository that you wish to delete.
