Applications Manager permits three types of user access to
work with the product. The different roles are
User
Operator
Administrator
User:
The system users have read only access to all components
of the product. They will not have the privilege to access,
configure or edit the different components of the product.
Operator:
The system operators have read only access to those components
of the product that the administrator assigns to the operator.
They will not have the privilege to access, configure or edit
the different components of the product.
Administrator:
The system administrators are allowed to perform all admin activities
like creating new monitor groups and new monitors, configuring
alarms and thresholds and creating new actions. The Administrator
can provide mail server and proxy configurations.
Further, the administrator can configure SNMP Trap Listeners
to receive traps and also schedule the timeperiod for which
monitoring is not needed through Maintenance window.
