How to use groups as filters for reports?
Regardless of the type of report you want to generate, you can always filter devices according to the group they are added to. Adding this filter will create the respective report in regard to the chosen group.
Steps to create a report using groups filter:
- Go to Reports.
- Choose a category of reports (e.g., System, Inventory, Storage, Forecast, etc.)
- Click on a report which you want to generate.
- The report builder will draft a report using data from all the monitored devices.
- On the top right corner of the report, click on the Filter option.
- A dropdown menu named Filter By lists all the possible filters that can be added. These filter are usually Businesss Views, or Groups.
- From the list, select the group for which you want a report to be generated, and click on Apply on the right most corner.
- You can either view the report, export the report as a PDF file, or as an excel file.
