The file analysis tool periodically scans the file server to keep reports up-to-date. To view or edit these scheduled scans:
- Select File Analysis from the application drop-down menu at the top.
- Go to Configuration.
- On the left-hand menu, go to Settings > Scan Configuration.
- Click the Edit icon on the scan schedule you want to view or edit.
Best practice: By default, the recommended scanning schedules below will be set:
Metadata scan: Once every 30 days.
Incremental metadata scan: Once every 24 hours.
Security scan: Once every 24 hours.
Disk space scan: Once every 24 hours.
